Trip to Wigan is pivotal in Beverley’s season.

The Blue and Golds will head off on their travels this Saturday to face Wigan St Judes (kick-off 2.30pm at Parsons Meadow).
The match could be pivotal in terms of the relegation battle. The home side lie bottom whilst Beverley are third from bottom. Both sides are on 6 points as are all of the bottom five sides in a tight battle to escape the drop to division 3.
This week Sam French has the rare luxury of a relatively unchanged 17. Although Billy Riby, Francis Coggle and Bobby Howdle are unavailable, this is offset by the return of James Boughen and Lewis Miller. Looking ahead to the clash he commented ” Its a massive game for our season, it helps going into it off the back of a very good performance. The group have trained well and we will go there and give it everything we can to get the result.”
